Real Estate And Old Dogs
It's almost the typical Monday morning.
If you are a buyer/seller or just want information it seems as though it all takes place on Monday mornings.
Probably the busiest day of the week. It's a hustle-got to respond asap and appointments change,it's just hectic. Usually I care and am hitting it hard. yes,I said usually-today is a bit different.
Friday my old dog was having trouble walking and seemed to be in pain-We took her to the vet in Livingston(Duaine has been taking care of her since she was born). None of us were really ready to do what I thought I had to do. Drugs, yes they must be the answer. A shot of this and a bottle of pills-well we gave it a try.By last night we knew what we had to do. So my vet told us to come in. It was time for my old gal to rest-It was very peaceful and yet sad.
When we got back to the car the other dogs seemed to feel the pain as well.
I looked at my phone and had 7 calls and text's.That's when I realized once more that real estate life goes on no matter what, even though our lives had been changed.
Taylor will always live in our hearts and memory.
I will make a donation in her name to the Stafford shelter and Heart of the Valley.
Now back to work so I can pay for those donations!
Be good to your animals!
