The truth about most real estate agents
What a crazy selling and buying year this has been. Buyers seem to be coming out of the woodwork which is very exciting. That is a good thing-the bad thing is, it's tough!!! Why... I think some buyers still don't trust the average realtor. The problem that I have seen these last few months is that the buyer refuses to take a real estate professionals' advice. This is what we do to earn a living-listen to us. The market has really changed again to multiple offers and getting close to asking price if not asking price. Buyers just can't believe it. Other markets may not be as strong as Bozeman-but this is how it is. So,if the buyer wants and needs the house and it has the wow factor that is necessary, why are they countering a counter over and over risking the entire deal? They think we only care about getting the commission. The commission is good,it helps me live and pay bills but my job is to help people find the right home at fair market value. I look at the needs of my buyers and am truly looking out for their best interest. To try to save a few thousand bucks and risk loosing the house of their dreams is crazy. I have been in the real estate business for about 12 years, you would think my education and experience would count for something ! Most realtors truly want to help their clients. That's what we are here for. That's the truth.
