How long has your REALTOR® been selling real estate?
I have been a licensed realtor for 18 years. Helping buyers and sellers is not only my career and livelihood, but my passion. Success comes from thinking outside of the box, problem solving and making clients' dreams their reality.

What is their real estate education?
In addition to my bachelor's degree, I have earned: the coveted Accredited Buyer's Representative (ABR) designation, the benchmark of excellence in helping clients through the buying process; my broker’s license; and the Graduate, Realtor’s Institute (GRI) designation (which entails a three-year in-depth training in legal and regulatory issues, technology, professional standards, and the sales process).
My knowledge of real-estate matters and markets is up-to-the-minute fresh and I am constantly seeking out additional sources of information. Building a relationship with your realtor involves trust and respect. What has your realtor done to earn that?
How long has your REALTOR® lived in the area?
Some realtors are new to the area. I have lived in Southwest Montana for 25 years, long enough to witness all the changes in the area, plug into the pulse of the town, and become intimately involved with the schools, service clubs and organizations that serve the region. I can fill you in on job opportunities, and the best of Livingston and Bozeman.
What is your REALTOR®'s community involvement?
I have a mission: With every Small Dog Realty transaction, I give a percentage of the proceeds to local Montana animal shelters. This is my commitment and my passion. Over the years, through my connections with the shelters and other Montana dog-lovers, I have also helped place many dogs in need with wonderful loving homes.
To stay plugged in, I am active member of the Sunrise Rotary club and its membership committee, the Bozeman Chamber of Commerce, and our local real estate multiple-listing committee. I have also volunteered at the historic Ellen Theatre and support the arts in the area.
I LOVE to be outside and am a huge fan of local recreational sports. I’m involved in the Wind Drinkers running club and stay on top of the regional race schedule, running multiple marathons every year. Throughout the summer, I can often be found practicing with my dragon-boat racing team or on the golf course. Also, my daughter teaches Barre classes, which I regularly attend, and my son plays ice hockey (his team considers me a sort of team mascot because I’m such an avid fan).
At least twice a day, every day, no matter the weather, I’m walking dogs. Lately, it's me and our small dog, Piper, but once upon a time I was out there daily with a pack of five Labradors. Needless to say, I know all of the dog-friendly places to walk or run!
I feel that being involved is a great way to make positive changes and be part of something bigger than myself and my business.
IS YOUR REALTOR® familiar with the school systems?
My two children attended elementary, middle and high school in Livingston and Bozeman, and went on to attend Montana State University and University of Montana. I am in the know!
Do you trust your REALTOR®?
I sure hope so. I speak the truth. Whether you are selling or buying, I don't beat around the bush on price to get the sale done. I want what's best for all my buyers and sellers.
Is your REALTOR® listening to your needs?
As a long-time broker, I listen to my clients’ needs and work with them to get the job done. There is no sense in showing buyers properties that won't work for them. And sellers want honest information about their homes’ value, the state of the market and likelihood of a sale. My job is to stay up to do date on all relevant market information and real-estate inventory so that I can deliver what you want in the shortest amount of time possible.
