The mustache is the first thing people notice. The second? That Charlie somehow beat them to the property—again—with coffee in one hand and a snow shovel in the other, already clearing the walk for a last-minute showing.
Despite his speed—zooming around the county, returning calls quickly, and even chasing the odd escaped chicken—Charlie’s never in it for a quick sale. He’s in it to make sure everyone feels good at the closing table: buyers, sellers, neighbors, contractors, loan officers, lawyers, and anyone else involved. He’s got a trailer you can borrow, connections you didn’t know you needed, and the down-to-earth experience to keep even chaotic transactions on track.
Charlie took the reins (well, leash) at Small Dog Realty in 2024, but he’s been a full-time real estate broker since 2018 and selling real estate since 2015. Before that, he got his start as an oil and gas landman, growing deep experience in digging into land title, negotiating leases, and keeping deals honest and above board. Charlie’s lived, worked, and wandered around Montana since the ‘90s, which means he knows his way around both the backroads and the wild market swings.
Charlie’s mustache might be a local fixture, but so is Charlie himself: a devoted husband, dad of three, frequent community volunteer, Scout leader, and life member of Trout Unlimited and the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation. On the rare occasion he doesn’t pick up his always-ringing mobile, it’s because he’s stealing a rare mud-covered moment to fish the Yellowstone with his wife, three kids, and two dogs.
If you want a fair deal, zero stress, and to find or sell your ideal property—Charlie’s your guy.
