Originally from Northern Minnesota, I have called Southwest Montana my home for 15 years. After receiving my Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Communication from Northern Michigan University and being a member of their NCAA Alpine Skiing program, I returned to my hometown of Duluth to coach ski racing near the shores of Lake Superior. An impromptu ski trip to Big Sky in 2003, however, made it clear to me that Montana truly is the Last Best Place, with its endless outdoor recreation opportunities and stunning backdrop. I simply couldn’t imagine myself anywhere else and moved to Big Sky the following winter. In 2014 I moved to Bozeman, and am proud to be a professional ski patrol at Big Sky Resort.
Skiing isn’t the only way to enjoy life around these parts; mountain biking, snowmobiling, hiking, horseback riding, and camping are just a few ways to witness the breathtaking beauty of Montana. Three National Parks are within a half day’s drive of Bozeman, as well as some of the best fly fishing in the world. As Bozeman continues to grow and thrive, you’ll not want to miss the opportunity to make Southwest Montana your home.
With over 20 years in hospitality, a designer’s painstaking care to detail, and a whole lot of that Finnish Sisu, I can’t wait to make you feel right at home in our beautiful corner of Montana!
