Top of the world Views, borders National Forest. This seasonal property is ideal for a small hunting or recreation cabin. You can expect peace and quiet with awesome sunrises. The terrain is steep with a small building pad scraped out on the "nose of the ridge" that can be expanded a little bit. There is also thousands of acres of State and BLM (public lands) in the area for recreational use. Close to Wyoming state line, approximately 45 miles to Cody Wyoming and 35 miles to Red Lodge Montana, both gateways to panoramic highways and Yellowstone National Park. Just so you are aware there was an early season fire that ran along the east facing mountain range from Robertson Draw to Mount Maurice a stretch of about 7-10 miles. The fire left much of the trees burnt with pockets of still standing trees. Some of the grassy areas came back after a few rain storms. Next season the understory should be vibrant with wild flowers and native foliage.
